Highland Occasions by Design are not simply a chair cover hire company. Based in Glenlivet, Banffshire, Highland Occasions by Design provide a "one stop shop" venue dressing service. We believe this helps in your planning and coordination, ensuring colour matches throughout. We also believe it helps you if you don't have to manage several suppliers, all with differing needs and timing issues, in the months, weeks and days before your big day.

There are many reasons a couple might choose alternatives to fresh flowers. Hayfever and other allergies, budget or simply because you dare to be original. That is why we offer a great range from as little as £12 each. You can hire our unique and stylish centrepieces, designed especially for you and delivered and set up at your event. Yes - a bespoke design and a dressing service at an affordable price.

We can base your centrepiece on a large variety of glassware. Our range for example includes martinis and cocktails, fish bowls, lily vases or eiffel towers, hurricanes, cylinders, cubes and tanks, and tall conical vases. A variety of heights and sizes are available and if we don't currently stock your preference, we will source it. So there is no limit to the choice.

We also have a number of alternative candelabras - black iron for a gothic or medieval theme. Or traditional silver plate in either 36cm or 78cm high. These can be dressed with a twist of ivy and realistic flowers and thistles, a garland or crystal diamantes for that vintage "shabby chic" look. Or just use them as they are - classically simple.

We have no wish to compete with our excellent North of Scotland florists who create some magnificent displays. However we do pride ourselves in only obtaining the most realistic, and sometimes unusual, artificial flowers and greenery for use in our centrepieces. Should your preference be for fresh flowers we can offer our glassware or candelabras for your own florist to dress or fill. Please note - this option is only available to customers who have booked our chair covers or basic table decor package.

Our candle suppliers are mainly small companies, making their own candles and based right here in Scotland. Through these we can also colour match to your theme using a Pantone Colour Chart. With an amazing choice of pillar candles, large and small spheres, small and extra large floating candles of various shapes plus tealights, votives and tea cup or container candles we cannot wait to start designing your unique centrepiece for your special day.
